Uczciwy Remont: a Service with AI Renovation Quotes and Work Checks

Uczciwy Remont: a Service with AI Renovation Quotes and Work Checks – project screenshot

For many people, a renovation is one of the biggest expenses of the year, and a contractor’s quote can be hard to verify. For the Uczciwy Remont brand we built a WordPress-based service that lets you check the approximate cost of work from photos and a description, and then assess the quality of the finished job. It is an example of a service with AI renovation quotes and verification of construction work, combined with payments and a large SEO blog.

In short

  • Client: Uczciwy Remont
  • Industry: renovation and construction services, AI-based quoting and verification of work
  • Scope: a WordPress service with quote and verification forms, PDF reports, payments, an advice blog, an on-site assistant and an SEO layer
  • Technologies: WordPress, WooCommerce, a custom plugin and theme, OpenAI, n8n, Stripe
  • Website: uczciwyremont.pl

The challenge: a fair renovation quote without running around to estimators

A flat owner planning a renovation usually does not know whether a contractor’s offer is in line with market rates. After the work is finished, a second question appears: does the quality match the price paid? The brand wanted to answer both problems with a simple online service, with no visits and no long wait.

Technically, this meant several tasks at once. The form had to accept photos and a description, payment had to happen only at the end, and the report had to be generated automatically and delivered to the client by email and as a PDF. On top of that came the scale of content: the service was to support many construction services and cities, so it needed an efficient SEO structure.

Behind this lies an information asymmetry. The contractor knows material prices, working time and typical problems, while the client often has no point of reference and does not know whether the proposed amount is reasonable. A tool that gives an approximate quote from photos within minutes levels the playing field and lets the client ask the contractor better questions before signing a contract.

How the service works, step by step

The user journey is short. The client chooses a city and type of service, describes the scope of work and adds photos: up to 10 files in JPG, PNG or WEBP format, each up to 5 MB. Only after completing the form do they move on to payment. According to the website, the PDF report arrives by email after 15–30 minutes, and using the service does not require creating an account. This keeps the number of steps to a minimum, which matters to someone who wants to quickly check whether a contractor’s offer is reasonable.

How we worked

We started by establishing who uses the service and what decision the report should make easier. Then we designed the journey: choosing the service and city, describing the work, photos, payment, report. We implemented the following modules in stages, testing forms, payments and report generation before going live.

The solution: AI quotes and verification of construction work

AI quote based on photos

The user chooses a city and type of service, describes the scope of work and adds photos. According to the website, the quote report presents a price range for the given city, a list of items that need attention and tips for negotiation. There are 30 service categories available, from plumbing and electrical work to photovoltaics and heat pumps.

Quality verification after the renovation

The second service is for assessing completed work. The client enters the amount from the invoice, describes the work carried out and uploads photos taken after the renovation. According to the website, the result is a quality score on a scale of 1–10 and a comparison of the price with the market. Verification can be linked to an earlier quote, which lets you compare the plan with what was delivered.

Simple pricing and payments

Instead of subscriptions, the service uses a one-off model: according to the website, each report costs 29 PLN, with no registration, and payment follows once the form is completed. Payments are handled by Stripe, and once the payment is booked the system starts generating the report. The plugin also includes an integration with Fakturownia.pl for issuing sales documents.

A flat fee instead of subscriptions and contractor accounts

During the project we considered various models, from subscriptions to contractor accounts with ratings, but in the end the service works more simply: the client pays once for a specific report, and contractors do not have to register. As a result there is no barrier to entry, and the whole process concerns only the person who needs a quote or a check of completed work. The quality score in the service is the result of AI analysis on a scale of 1–10, not opinions collected from contractors.

A home page focused on the decision

The home page quickly explains the offer: a slogan, a main button, four ordering steps, a comparison of the pre-renovation quote with post-renovation verification, and a sample report. In the corner there is a chat assistant which, according to the description in the code, answers questions about the service and prices based on the actual list of services.

Automations and integrations

The back end of the service connects several tools. Payments are handled by Stripe (card and BLIK), and VAT invoices can be issued through the Fakturownia.pl integration. Background processes are supported by n8n automations, and we use Browserless to fetch data from web pages. Reports are produced by an OpenAI model, and the service’s description states plainly that the report is informational and does not replace an expert’s opinion. This honesty towards the user builds trust in the whole service.

A blog with local advice

The content is complemented by a blog with guides on prices and acceptance of work, tied to specific cities and services. The SEO article generator in the plugin uses a model of cities times services times topic angles, run on a schedule, with a progress panel in the admin. Posts have headings, short descriptions and an estimated reading time.

SEO, GDPR and security

The service was prepared for search engines: the theme outputs structured data (organisation, website, article, product), and the plugin adds schema for the quote and verification pages. The admin panel includes a Google Search Console integration for monitoring indexing.

Because users upload photos and pay online, we took care of legal and protective matters. The service has a cookie banner, a privacy policy, terms and conditions, and a separate page with the terms of using AI, which clearly says that the report is informational. The code includes safeguards: protection against brute-force attacks, registration limits, reCAPTCHA, blocking of disposable email addresses, and an internal GDPR (RODO) audit tool.

The guides are meant to answer specific questions: how much a given type of renovation costs in a chosen city and what to look for when choosing a contractor. According to the project documentation, the plugin can prepare such articles in bulk, for around 100 cities, 30 types of service and several topic variants, with a background publishing schedule and a progress panel. This makes it possible to build local visibility systematically, without manually writing hundreds of similar texts.

The safeguards include protection against password guessing, a registration limit, reCAPTCHA, blocking of disposable email addresses and a cookie consent banner. The service also has a page with the terms of using AI, so users know what the service involves and what its limitations are.

Technologies

  • WordPress with WooCommerce as the orders layer
  • a custom plugin (forms, PDF reports, credits, admin panel) and a custom theme
  • OpenAI for photo analysis and for generating reports and content
  • n8n for automating the quoting and verification processes and the SEO generator
  • Stripe for payments, Fakturownia.pl for sales documents

The result

The result is a working service in which the whole process, from form to report, is automated. The user does not need to create an account, and the brand owner gets a panel for managing submissions, services, cities, reports and the content generator. The figures shown on the website, such as “over 500 flat owners helped”, come from the brand’s own communication and are not our result. We see the value in a coherent product: a clear offer, a predictable price and a scalable blog that works for search visibility.

Who this solution is for

A similar model works for companies that sell a service based on knowledge or analysis: quotes, audits, reports, diagnoses. It suits brands that want to combine a paid digital product with strong local SEO and work automation.

Keep in mind that the results of such a service depend not only on the website itself. Search traffic is built over months, and the quality of the reports decides whether users return and recommend it to others. That is why, after launch, it is worth regularly checking which queries reach the form, which cities and services attract the most interest and which questions keep coming back in messages, and developing the content and service descriptions on that basis.

Flat owners planning a renovation, people accepting completed work and investors who want to quickly judge whether a cost estimate is in line with market prices will all benefit from such a solution. A similar model works in any industry where the client buys a service that is hard to assess on their own.

It is also worth keeping content up to date: prices of materials and labour change from year to year, so service descriptions and guides need a periodic review for the service to remain credible.

A service with AI quotes and a local blog: lessons for service companies

Uczciwy Remont combines a paid report, automation and an advice blog tied to cities and services. For service companies there is a practical takeaway: local SEO can be built systematically if each guide answers a specific question, for example about the price of a given renovation in a chosen city. This applies to Bydgoszcz and the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region as well. Generating similar texts in series, however, requires quality control and periodic updates, because prices change from year to year. Search traffic is built over months and we guarantee nothing.

It is also worth being honest about limitations: the service states that the AI report is informational. We write about the basics of local visibility in the article on SEO for a local business, and about tailor-made solutions in the text on custom WordPress plugins.

FAQ

Does a service with AI quotes require creating an account?

According to uczciwyremont.pl, the quote and verification form can be completed without registration. You only need to provide the email address the report will be sent to. User accounts are available for those who want to create one.

How quickly is a renovation quote report produced?

According to the information on the website, the report is sent by email, usually within 15–30 minutes of the payment being booked. The report is generated automatically, and the user can also download it as a PDF file.

Does an AI report replace a cost estimator or an expert appraiser?

No. The terms of using AI state plainly that the report is informational and is neither an expert’s opinion nor a legal document. It is an aid for negotiation and for assessing an offer, not a binding quote.

How much does it cost to build a service like Uczciwy Remont?

The cost depends on the scope: the number of modules, payment and AI integrations, the content generator and SEO requirements. After a short conversation we prepare an individual quote tailored to the project.

Can such a solution be built on WordPress?

Yes. Uczciwy Remont runs on WordPress with WooCommerce, a dedicated plugin and a custom theme. This model works well when you need both a service website and an extensive SEO blog.
